Terms of Use

By using Octavera you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it. Octavera is made by PODNalious Technologies LLC ("we", "us"), a Utah company. Contact: Steve.

What Octavera does

Octavera sends your question and an AI's answer to several independent AI services, compares what they say, checks facts against official documents and live sources, and gives you a report. Its Create tools make pictures, flyers, posters, videos, charts and read-aloud audio from what you provide.

Accounts

You must be at least 18 to use Octavera. Keep your password private; you are responsible for what happens under your account. While Octavera is invite-only, invitations are personal and may be withdrawn. One person per account.

Acceptable use

Don't use Octavera to:

• break any law or anyone else's rights, including copyright, trademark and privacy;
• create content that is sexual, hateful, harassing, violent or deceptive, or that imitates a real person or business without permission;
• make fake documents, reviews, receipts or official-looking notices;
• upload malware, overload the service, get around its limits, or reach other people's accounts or data;
• resell or copy the service, or use it to build a competing product, without our written permission.

We may remove content, pause an account or close it if these rules are broken.

A second opinion, not professional advice

• Octavera's reports can still be wrong, out of date or incomplete, even when several AIs agree and a source is cited.
• Octavera is not a doctor, lawyer, accountant, financial adviser, engineer or other licensed professional, and its reports are not professional advice.
• For decisions about health, money, taxes, law, safety, buildings, electrical work or anything else with real consequences, check with a qualified professional and the official source.
• In an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number.
• Scores, badges and "confirmed" marks describe how the check went, not a guarantee that something is true.

Create: pictures, flyers, videos, charts and voice

Pictures are made by OpenAI's image service and checked by other AIs. Octavera adds your words and logos itself, in the fonts you choose. Videos are put together in your own browser.

• Content rules. OpenAI's usage rules apply to every picture. If OpenAI declines a request, Octavera shows that and makes nothing.
• Check before you use it. AI pictures can still contain mistakes: wrong details, odd shapes, stray letters. The AI checks reduce mistakes but don't remove them. Read every word, number and date before you print, post or send anything.
• No real people without permission. Don't create pictures that show or imitate a real person, or someone's brand, logo or property, unless you have their permission.
• Who owns what. As between you and us, you own what you make, to the extent the law allows. AI-made images may not be protected by copyright in every country, and similar images may be made for other people.
• Fair use of the service. Pictures, captions and checks have daily and monthly limits, shown in the app. We may change them.
• Charts are drawn by Octavera from numbers in your text. It flags any number it can't find in your text, but you're responsible for checking the chart.
• Read aloud uses your browser's own voice or OpenAI's voice service. The OpenAI voice is AI-generated, not a real person's.

Your content and your responsibilities

• What you give us. Your questions, answers, documents, links, photos, logos, video clips, audio and the words you type stay yours. You let us use them only to run Octavera for you: to send them to the AI services and sources that do the checking or creating, to show you the results, and to keep the records described below.
• You need the rights. Only upload what you own or have permission to use, including brokerage and agent logos, brand marks, headshots, photos of people and property, and other people's documents.
• Clients' information. You may use Octavera for work you do for your own clients or customers. You are responsible for that work and for having permission to share their information. For example, tax professionals generally need a client's written consent before sharing tax return information with outside services.
• Private documents (Account → My documents) are used only for your own checks. Other customers never see them, and they are never added to Octavera's shared library.
• Share links. If you turn on a share link, anyone with that link can read that one report until you turn it off.
• Advertising and real estate. If you use Octavera for ads, listings or marketing, you are responsible for following the rules that apply to you: fair housing law, MLS, brokerage and license rules (for example, showing the brokerage name), truth-in-advertising and pricing rules, and each platform's advertising policies. Octavera does not review content for legal compliance.

Limits, changes and the legal fine print

• Availability. Octavera depends on outside AI services, government sources and web hosting. Any of them can be slow, change or stop. We may pause the service, change features or limits, or stop offering Octavera, and we'll try to give notice of big changes.
• Payments. Octavera is free during the invite-only test. If paid plans start, the price and terms will be shown to you before you pay anything.
• Disclaimer. Octavera is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.
• Limit of liability. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or business. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if you paid nothing.
• Your responsibility. You agree to cover us for claims that come from your content, from how you use what Octavera makes, or from breaking these terms.
• Ending. You can stop using Octavera and delete your account at any time (Account → Delete account). We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. The sections on ownership, disclaimers, liability and law still apply after an account closes.
• Changes. We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll show a notice in the app before it applies. Continuing to use Octavera after that means you accept the new terms.
• Law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah. Disputes go to the state or federal courts in Salt Lake County, Utah.

Privacy Policy

We collect only what Octavera needs to work, we don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.

The services we use

• AI services: Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI (ChatGPT, pictures, voice, captions), Google (Gemini), xAI (Grok) and Perplexity (live web check). They process content only to provide Octavera's checks and creations, under their business terms and privacy policies. Their published terms for these paid services say they don't train their models on this data by default.
• Public sources: openFDA, PubMed, eCFR and the Federal Register receive search words only, never your account.
• Hosting: Render.

Please don't send what isn't needed

Avoid Social Security numbers, account or record numbers, passwords, detailed medical records, or anything that identifies a patient, client or customer. Crop or cover faces, names and numbers in photos you don't need checked. Don't share anything you aren't allowed to share with outside services.

Cookies and security

One sign-in cookie keeps you signed in; there are no advertising or tracking cookies. Connections use HTTPS, passwords are stored scrambled, and AI keys stay on the server. A backup is made every day, and the last 7 are kept. No system is perfectly secure: tell us at once if you think your account was misused.

Your choices

• Delete any report from History.
• Remove private documents under Account → My documents.
• Delete your account and all its reports, documents and share links under Account → Delete account. Backup copies are gone within 7 days.
• Ask for a copy of your data, or for anything to be corrected or deleted: email Steve. We'll answer within 30 days.

Children

Octavera is not for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
